About Us
As a progessive and renewal Jewish community, we honor the foundational premise of B'Tzelem Elohim, all humans are formed in the image of God. We believe that men and women are equal in all Jewish practice; we welcome the full inclusion of all LGBTQ+ people; and we honor the fundamental shared humanity of Israelis and Palestinians.
Ohel Yachdav is a member of the KU Leuven Lifestance Network. It is a recognized etnic diverse organisation of the city of Leuven and a member of the Flemish International Committee Federation.
SERVICES
Kabbalat Shabbat/Ma'ariv, candle lighting, kiddush and (vegetarian) Shabbat Dinner on the 3rd Friday of the month. Occasional Havdalah.
FESTIVALS
We mark as many as we can – with study, tefilah, food.
LIMMUD
We explore the Parashah together during Friday service and organise other study sessions around Festivals
